I would start with the Summon Power Search (search box at library.cornerstone.edu) and try some of the following searches:

• child abuse effects
• effects of child abuse in adulthood
• short term effects of child abuse
• long term effects of child abuse

I would also limit search results to 2000 to present, which you can do on the lower left hand column.

Also, if you cannot find enough through the Summon Power Search, try the database “PsycArticles” (library.cornerstone.edu > Databases > PsycArticles).  I would work with the same searches recommended above.
