For resources on the causes, history and treatment of autism, I suggest trying the following three search strategies:

1. First begin your autism research by doing a Summon Power Search for the "history of autism."

2. Second search the library catalog using a "Subject" search for autism. Your search results will be broken into different catagories such as Diagnosis, Treatment, Case Studies, etc. Click on the subject you are looking for to find a list of books regarding this topic. Many of these titles are ebooks and can be read online.

3. For journal articles on autism search the individual databases Sage and ProQuest Social Science Collection.
