The library occasionally accepts donations of books based on these criteria:

  • all books are in good condition and meet the collection focus of Miller Library
  • worn, marked or damaged books are not accepted.

It is strongly preferred that a title list is provided for review before any donation is accepted. At this time, we are not accepting large collections of books from personal libraries.  All items donated to the library become the property of the Miller Library. Items which are not needed for the collection are usually sold in the library's book sale. We are not able to provide an appraisal value for individual items or collections, but can provide a receipt upon request. For further information, please contact Library Director Fred Sweet.
